Newspaper
The Newspaper Club provides interested students in sixth through eighth grade an opportunity to explore the process of interviewing others, journalistic writing, photography and design. Members of The Maverick Messenger meet approximately twice a month. They publish the newspaper online two to three times a year. It is a great opportunity for students to put their talents to use by highlighting faculty, staff, fellow students and activities at SHMS.
Students will participate in interviews, write news articles and take photos. Those journalistic artifacts may be found here.
