Three Teams Triumphant After Battle
Teams battled it out for a spot in the winner’s circle by answering questions about books they have read during the Battle of the Books competition. Only one team in each grade could bring home the title. The Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program that tests students’ knowledge of books from the reading list given to them by their Library Media Specialist. Field Day is Full of Tugs, Hoops and Hollers!
The annual field day event at PCES was a rousing success again this year. Students competed inside and out in events such as toe jousting, tug-of-war and the obstacle course. The weather was unseasonably warm which made the day just right for all kinds of outdoor sports like water balloon relay, water cup relay and partner water tanks.

Teachers vs. Students in Kickball Extravaganza
PCES teachers and students were back at it again with another fun-filled, school-wide event. Students earned a chance to have their name in the drawing to be chosen for the student kickball team by being nominated by a staff member for good deeds toward others or good sportsmanship. Read More…
