District Receives $11,000 from First Option Bank
October 08, 2012

At the Spring Hill High School varsity football game on Oct. 5th, members of First Option Bank presented Nels Anderson, P.E., president of the Spring Hill Board of Education, with a check for $11,444.08. The proceeds from the bank’s School Logo Check Card Program benefit many area schools, and more than $35,000 has gone to the Spring Hill School District since its beginning in 2007. The intent of the program is to help school districts enhance programs that would otherwise be difficult given funding for public education. The bank’s previous donations have been used for musical instruments, facility upgrades, including dugouts, and classroom technology.
