Department of Justice Provides Internet Safety Tips for Families

The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas would like help protecting Kansas students from a variety of hazards that they face online.
As part of an outreach by the United States Attorney, Internet safety tip sheets are being provided to schools and families. Children face a variety of hazards online, and it is important to discuss these tips to help ensure their safety. Unfortunately, it is not just middle- or high school-aged children who are at risk but elementary school students are as well.
Please take time to review the parent/guardian safety tips sheet and also share the student sheet with your child. These materials are located on the Project Safe Childhood – Cyber Safety web site.
