Prairie Creek Elementary School Receives State Honor
August 27, 2012

Congratulations to Prairie Creek Elementary School (PCES)! The school has been identified and recognized as a Title I Reward School by the Kansas Department of Education.
As part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility Waiver, the Kansas State Department of Education has identified the top 10 percent of Title I schools as Reward Schools. Reward schools are selected based on two criteria: high academic performance or high academic progress. A full list of Title I Reward Schools is posted on the Kansas State Department of Education website.
“This is truly a notable accomplishment for Prairie Creek Elementary School. Please accept my congratulations on having received this distinguished honor,” said Dr. Diane DeBacker, Kansas Commissioner of Education.
