Chemistry II
4th Quarter is upon us. Students will be busy working on studies in nuclear chemistry. I find that students are innately curious about the nuclear world. We will learn about nuclear reactions, half life, nuclear power plants, and more.
We will finish up 4th quarter by working on our yearly Science Magic Show that we bring to the 5th graders at each of our elementary schools. This will, for sure, be a time of learning and fun for both the high school students and 5th grade students!
Another item of focus for our students is the Science State Assessment test. Juniors are required to take the Physical Science portion of that test on April 16.
